Being a basketball fan in the South is pointless. Every athletic and physical 6-5 kid plays football. Georgia has plenty of basketball players, they just happen to play on the football team.

I honestly wouldn't give a frick if we just shut down the basketball program.

We should petition the NCAA to allow us to drop the basketball program and let us use the scholarships for football.

Dan Hurley
Randy Bennett
Jeff Capel
Eric Musselman
Tom Crean
Earl Grant
Fred Hoiberg
Steve Proehm
Joe Dooley
Levelle Morton

Then basically anyone else not named Mark Fox is also ok.

I think we need to go after hoiberg after fox's inevitable dismissal. Today's game was just like every other saturday afternoon loss. It really gets old. I never want to see his face again. Our team turns the ball over way too much, cant hit three or free throws. I'm fricking sick of it, time to bring in some new blood.

These are pipe dreams. Capel will take over for K and if Bennett wanted to leave SMC, he would have by now.

ETA: IMO, we aren't pulling a coach currently in the ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 12, or SEC. It'll be someone from a lower tier Big East school or the A-10, AAC, Sun Belt, C-USA, etc....
