The Go Peay cheer will sound just awful in our beloved Sanford.
On a second note, Kirby ought to use part of that game to prep the team for crowd noise at SCU and LSU by having the Cheerleaders and big screen ramping up the crowd while we are on o.

Austin Peay's (pronounced like the letter P) mascot is the Governors.

One of my closest friends was their center and long snapper. I have been teasing him for months. I actually feel sorry for their players as they just aren't built to play us and I hope everyone on both sides gets through it without injury.
Have another that was a DTackle at MTSU, he is funny, don't kill us.

These schedules make for easier roads to Championships, but aren’t too good for fans.

I enjoy seeing the true freshmen getting significant snaps. All of the recruiting buildup... that kind of stuff is worth my time to go to sanford against a cupcake.
I don't expect everyone to share that enthusiasm. The beat writers who do play by play analysis the week after a game typically gloss over the scrub work. I get off on it though.

Indeed. It's a shitty time to have season tickets from a value standpoint quite frankly... It's one thing if you just go to every game and just want to enjoy Athens and the Dawgs, but for people who invest in them to go to half and sell the other half to help pay for them, there just isn't much meat on that bone. I am usually only good for 1-2 games/year myself, so it's always just been better to scalp, but for the people who make the investment, I feel for them... $$ requirements going up, quality of game going down. But at the end of the day, it's what "we want/asked for"... get to the SECCG with a shot at the playoffs...
Also, as UGA talent goes up, the type of game that "moves the needle" also starts to shrink as well...
Looking forward to ND and A&M games in 2019 though from a quality schedule perspective. Schedule quality would suck a lot less if UT wasn't so shitty, but I'm a-OK with taking that grenade to the strength of schedule...

I will have the opener on the DVR and the phone. The big screen will be Auburn vs Washington. Sunday I'll watch the Dawgs on big screen.

Maybe after a few years I’ll be fully recovered from my CMRPTSD but with SC in week two I like having a tune up game to work some off the bugs out.
Also it should give Fields and some of our freshman RBs significant playing time.
