Not buying into the Fields transfer.

Not until it's confirmed by him or UGA. I think the timing is toooooo purposeful. 3 days before ESD and I ask myself who benefits the most from the timing. Even if it's true, Fields isn't in the top 5 who benefit from the timing. Fields could wait till after the Sugar Bowl and it not effect him.
I look to other programs, other recruits, and the media as to who benefits the most from this.
Please keep in mind this has NOT been confirmed, but it sure has put a cloud over our program. Who benefits?

Kirby’s putting the transfer stuff out there so that we can recruit a 3rd QB. Man’s a genius.

I don’t think Fields or his family directly leaked the rumor. My money would be on the family lawyer or another third party close to the family with something to gain. I just can’t see that family trying to screw over the University when they have a daughter who just signed to play here.
Either way, though, it’s out there now and it is officially a distraction in both recruiting and to the team as they prep for Texas. It needs to be addressed and put to bed

You'd think if this was all smoke from an outside enemy, one of our guys on staff (or Fields himself) would say something.

Very valid point. It has NOT been denied either. We will know by the end of the day. It's too big not to address.

Understand this sentiment, but attorneys don’t leak that kind of story without express permission from the party they represent.
Fields and family have burned the bridge.

I mean I think there’s too many smoldering bridges for him to stick around at this point

Fields had the entire offseason to initiate this process. You don't chance this kind of damaging info leaking right before signing day if you intend to stick around. Timing was in the hand of Fields and his advisors and someone made a decision to use it to possibly damage UGA's recruiting. He's gone, time to move forward.

Assuming he's ethical and that's a stretch for any attorney.

I just heard audio on what he said after the South Carolina game. Someone congratulated him afterwards and he basically said I didn't do shite, I handed off the ball pretty damn well!

When I first read the USA Today article, I though it was weird that it would mention the Sasser incident at the end. I thought it was kind of petty for the writer include that non-related irrelevant event. And I was kind of pissed at him for it.
That was very very very very naïve of me.
It's in there 100% on purpose. As some sort of threat to gain leverage with the release or the waiver. And this world can rot in hell for the mongotard sewer it has become.
Blame it on lawyers all you want, but the Fields's are allowing it.

It all started with Jacob Parks.

It's almost too perfect.
Kirby doesn't allow freshmen to speak to the media, so the only words we'll ever hear spoken from Just Fields at the University of Georgia were...……
"I handed the ball off good as frick."
-Justin Fields

Jeff, could we get Jake with Fields head on his shoulder?
Or Maybe Fields as JFK with NPC on his shoulder

It's been a while since I thought of him.
Kid ran from my Portuguese class back in Fall of 2014, too. He quits when the going gets tough.

Wasn't there another player's mom (Godwin?) that was tweeting some ominous things a week or two ago? Maybe she leaked it.
