re: Nauta Zapruder Film?
The Nauta Zapruder film is a reference to one of the most harrowing moments from last years HGMF.

In one of the weekly parlays, the question was posed, “will the first Georgia player to score a touchdown hand the ball to the ref?”

This of course came the week following Deandre Baker dropping a ball inches before crossing the goal line.

Isaac Nauta scored a touchdown, and the television angle was ambiguous as to whether the ball was in fact handed or tossed to the official.

This was an impasse in a very competitive week, as the outcome of the parlay would determine life or death for many brave souls.

It was around that time that BiteMe emerged with a previously undiscovered camera angle that revealed the outcome, adjudicated the points, and kept the blood-soaked wheels of the games spinning freely.

Ah yes, I remember now. Thanks for jogging my memory.

It was mega-random cell phone footage of a random fan in the stands filming the crowd celebrating the TD. And up in the corner of the shot, low and behold.....the jumbotron showed Nauta toss the ball to the ref.

I just got choked up remembering it.

RIP BiteMe

I think the actual written line was "deliver the ball to the official".

The first UGA player to score TD will deliver ball directly to official: True or False?

I doubt anything will ever top the involvement of the SEC office. Was that year 2?

I called the SEC office to get confirmation on a coin flip or something similar - ended up getting an official response via email, I think.

That may have been HGMF Season 2. It was my first or second one. Crazy.

I remember that, now. I do recall that you're the only GT fan that I've been allied with, early on when we were split into teams.

I remember too. I still have all the team emails for when we were helping each other pick.

May have been the best HGMF season ever. The teams twist and then folks being resurrected ... I was on the edge the whole time.

There were some funny things going on with the team vs team stuff. People trying to sneak into the other teams coms or having strategy sessions in anchored threads.
