Is more like a Chevrolet...a late 70 s Chevy. The sight lines are adequate but the lay out is bad, bathrooms are tiny and vending sucked....good prices though.

The scoreboards between levels are minuscule and useless..... the lighting on the field is horrible....blinding in places due to all the color changing and movement of images...and the overhead monitor has tow seperaate angles and is like watching two separate games at once with picture in picture. It's also directly in every seats focal area...extremely distracting from the field.... I'll bet after a few seasons changes are made or players will be very vocal about being blinded by flashing moving bright lights and images.

I have been to Jerry World 5 times and it wasn't close to the Georgia Dome....but it's better than MBS......

I pretty much disagree with you about everything other than the bathrooms being small. There are also about 4x as many as the GA Dome, though.

Players (college and NFL) say the lighting is bad when near the goal line and looking back for a pass.

PS: I really liked it though. Seats are nice. The concourse areas were nice and open. Food was decent and good prices.

Looked pretty good on TV. Would love to visit and see how it is in person.

I cant speak for lighting on the field because my seats were in the upper level, but overall I thought MBS was spectacular. Bathrooms maybe be small, but they are everywhere. Food prices are cheap, you can walk anywhere you want in the stadium. Those screens are nearly 6 stories tall and personally I thought the picture quality was outstanding. My only complaint was how much echo is generated due to all the metal and concrete I guess.

Would have to say I was highly unimpressed.

The white noise is horrible. Better than the dome but seriously for that $$$? It was loud even when nobody was cheering. You couldn't hear the band when they were pointed at you.

From most of the stadium, you wouldn't even know it had a roof, if it worked. You have to get a camera shooting up from the goal posts to even see it. You look up and it appears you are in an old warehouse of pipes and steel with some massive big screens. I guess in today's world big screens are the only design element necessary.

The food is generally the same stadium crap but people seem to like it. Guzzling down free sugar water refills is American AF. Would be nice if they actually offered water...just water.

The entrance and exits were ill thought out and not nearly enough given today's security concerns.

As for the halo, I could usually see 3/4 of one side which meant I had to go from one side to the other check out comparison stats.

It isn't the worst ever until you grade it on a scale based on dollars spent. Even going back to sales videos that mostly focused on the silly roof.

There were $2 bottles of Dasani everywhere. How much you spent on a ticket is not relative to how nice a stadium is. Go back for a monster truck show if that's your gripe. Sounds like your issue is with the price point of the seats you chose rather than the quality of the stadium.

I plan to check it out for cheap sometime this weekend with the HS championships. I'll see for myself, but I think a lot of people are nitpicking because they kind of want it to be bad because they didn't want the Dome replaced.

I've heard enough glowing reviews that I'm pretty confident I'll enjoy my trip.

They opened it in a rush. I hope after the Falcons season that they address many things, including the sound issues, lack of signage to the nearest exits, etc. I will say that when the roof is open, the sound is much, much better

germandawg,

How was your trip with your dad? Did y’all find a good spot to tailgate? Obviously the game was awesome but would love to hear how your old man did maneuvering around all day.

I don't really have an issue other than they missed the mark on most of the architectural and design points. I am sure Arthur thinks the inside of a Home Depot is beautiful and he should. The top of the roof shouldn't be the nicest thing about an arena. I'd give it a nod for about 30% less in cost (the Dome not the water) but even then they missed on some of the basic elements of engineering and design process.

I had a great time because of the game and at the end of the day it's functional.

My seats were club fwiw. I did visit friends in some other areas as well. I did not visit any suites.

I thought it was awesome. We were in section 132. Couldnt understand why the big screen was so high, but other than that one of the best venues I've been to. Jerrys World included.

Been to almost every SECE stadium plus Bama,AU and Clemson and Ga Dome and as good if not better in terms
of sightlines.Have no idea what your talking about in terms of "layout" Are you talking about the seating, concourses or the amenities?Vending "sucked"?
How so?Do you mean access or waiting in line?I was on
the lower level and the lines were minimal for concessions and not close to the disaster at Sanford.

The scoreboards between levels

WTF?No idea what you were trying to see or not seeing.
The scoreboard was easy to see from anywhere in the venue.

I wasn't on the field so wouldn't know. But "color changes"Once again WTF?

MSB is head and shoulders better than the Dome and it's
Not close.

Only thing I agree with you about
is the bathrooms

Arthur's Anus Garner's mixed reviews.

For that amount of money it should not be hard to get it right.

We had a BLAST! We didn't tailgate but we did get a table in the WCC and spent about 2-1/2 hours drinking scotch and talking about UGA football! With all of the fanfare stuff going on around us. We were so pumped up I didn't realize until about 1 am Sunday that I had spent about 4 hours of walking and pushing a wheelchair......

After the game, sitting in traffic, he said aloud "if someone had told me I'd get to see that in person I'd would have never believed it".......it was everything and more than I could have ever hoped for. To top it off when Bama lost to Auburn I had a ticket for my son to go with us....he is in school in Denver and flew to Atlanta to meet us....and him and Daddy were high giving and hugging one another the whole game!!!! Pure magic??

Jerry World is okay, but it’s not as good as MBS. The Dome is a damn joke compared to both and it isn’t even close.
