Finally watched the Richard Jewell movie over the weekend, while I am sure there are exaggerations, you could see then what the someone with an ax to grind and the media make horrible bed fellows. Ruining people's lives over innuendo, special place in hell for them.

Pandering. It's really that simple. Black is a color, not a proper noun. But journalists and editors have decided to change the laws of the language for that word, apparently.

I’ve seen a ton of his former teammates, players, and colleagues come to his defense on social media. Amazing how these leftist journalists are so desperate to take somebody down that they’ll drag a good man’s name through the mud for practically nothing.

As someone who lived it (I was in Centennial Park that night and am friends with several mutual friends of his), Clint Eastwood didn't exaggerate a whole lot.
Jewell got railroaded, plain and simple. And it cost him his life (the stress he endured no doubt led to the heart attack that killed him).

Apparently everyone from the NYT to Fox News decided they will alter their style guides to capitalize "Black." Kinda weird how they all uniformly decided to do this overnight.

Once the AP did it, almost every other major news organization (that term is used very loosely when describing rags like the NYT) decided to fall in line.
They've also said they won't capitalize white because it is what white supremacists used to do. Unfrickingbelievable

I used to believe that despite their biases, news orgs attempted to reach some version of the truth though honest, investigative journalism. Sure, CNN leaned "left," and Fox News was more on the "right," but you could get a sense of the truth by contrasting these viewpoints.
However, these last few years (Covington Catholic, Kavanaugh, Greta Thunberg, Jussie Smollett, etc) have just shown me that it's all bullshite propaganda.
Changing the language here isn't a reflection of journalistic integrity, IMO. It's just Pravda.

Based on the new Woke Rulebook who knows what is racist any more. We do know that Bobo spent his entire life around black athletes. Today he needs them in order to make a living. He ain't running around like a 1950's sheriff....that is a fact.

What's the likelihood this was a rumor created by an opposing team staff as a negative-recruitment technique?
Or hell, it could just be a reporter who's the alumni of a rival university who's trying to indirectly help his team's recruiting by hurting his rival's reputation.
So many people are contradicting this story, it's obviously a lie. And, as mentioned, it's just asinine and illogical on it's face. So who has the biggest motive to make something like this up?
