Lindys magazine claims UGA has the #1 backfield in the SEC

My dad always had it around when I was a kid, and I guess now I feel obligated to spend 8 bucks for something I can look up on the web in 2 minutes.
Anyways, my question is about UGAs oline....how are they looking this year? I know there's a few returning starters like that ginger Theus, and Dillon Lees wanker brother, but are there anymore? How strong were they last year? Did Gurley get those yards on his own in the SECCG?
Thanks fellas, if true than it will be another street fight in the Dome.

The Oline gelled pretty good last year and we bring everyone back.

*****Not sure why my verbiage was changed, I guess this site has an auto change, but I did not post "wanker" for Lee's brother, my description for him was a white fella who acts black. Sorry.

5 returners? Damn, and they'll gel even more this year.
Again, did Gurley earn those yards on his own in the SECCG?
ETA: I was drunk during the game, and every time I've rewatched it I've focused on other aspects. a-hole roommate "accidently" deleted it from the DVR so I can't go back to it.

Yeah, I was confused about what you meant by wanker brother but I just disregarded it because I had no idea.

Had to be a combination of both. It's tough to gain a lot of yards on your own vs Bama's run D.
ETA: How many 100 yd rush games have y'all given up to an individual in the past 3 years? 2? 3?

Ha yea I'm not a Brit, just trying to take a light jab. Didn't know this site did it.

Actually, IIRC it has been only one other since Benjarvis Green-Ellis, and the name escapes me at the moment but it was the back from UT(surprisingly) a few years ago.
It most definitely is an exclusive group. During the SECCG game me and a few other UA fans were sitting there scratching our heads. We knew Gurley was good, but I didn't think he was good enough to do what he did. Big boy football was played that night.
ETA: I think it was Tauren Poole(sp?) the UT back. I could be missing one, but I think it was BGE-Poole-Gurley. Impressive to say the least.

Gurley definitely ran with some authority against Florida and Alabama. He looks like a create a player RB in a video game. I think it was his second TD vs Bama when he went head first into a pile of humanity and drove through it into the end zone. Best looking RB we've seen around here probably since Garrison Hearst, and that includes Knowshon.
OL turned into a very good run block unit by the end of the season. Struggled in pass pro but they opened up a lot of holes for Gurley and Marshall to run through.
Also, SECCG replay is available on YouTube

I believe it was Tauran Poole? But yeah, grown arse man football that night and I'm hoping we can get version 2.0 this year.

Yea....that was a huge gut shot/reality check for us. No one(outside of those 2 others) runs on us like that. Another reason why it made it a great game, and according to Chuck Oliver(Atl radio listeners) it was the best SECCG ever played, including our '92 game with UF.

Perfect timing.... I'll be in Hartsfield tomorrow morning with at minimum 1.5 hours before flight. Only hangup is they don't have free wifi. Not gonna watch it on my phone, might be worth it to splurge.

Gurley>>>>>Hearst/Knowshon. As I mentioned before no one runs on us like that, including Knowshon.
I know, Gurley has only played one year.....
Now would have Gurley ran on us like that if he had to go against Rolondo or Hightower? Who knows, but he did run on us like that.

Is this the same Don Draper? WTF haha

To answer the question... we returned everyone on the OL. Ie. there were no seniors last year and nobody left early for the draft. So we have essentially a solid 2 deep with a couple of other players on top of it who could make it happen in the SEC.
With the normal wear and tear of injuries, we ended up playing about 7 guys as starters last season. With some redshirts coming back, that could easily be 8-9 guys by season's end that we trust to get the job done.

I think the oline will be great this year. We will find out just how good we got it with CWF.
Dallas Lee a "wanker"?
Didn't Dillion get sent home from Miami for living that thug life

Yea, Gurshal are for real. I expect both to be even more productive this season. The OL should be improved and Murray is in his final season at QB. I'm more concerned about the defense. We lost most of our starters but considering we were porous vs the run, I'm not sure that's a bad thing. And yes, the SECCG was a battle for sure. We just didn't have the winning strategy at the end of the game. Best of luck this season. Hoping for a rematch.

Always been the same Don.
The people I generally tend to piss off are homers(especially the ones in my own fanbase), and people that take their team too seriously.
As a UA alum/fan living in Atlanta I hear shite all the time, but that's part of the fun of it all. I also have no problem with UGA, I have friends that are fans, I know a few former players, and I also do business with UGA. I've also had too many good time in Athens to dislike that place.
