2 years of eligibility? Looks like he didn’t play the 2016 season?

Does this have anything to do with Pickens?

I hope it is unrelated

Jake Fromm now has... Matt Landers (6 ft 5) Lawrence Cager (6 ft 6) Tommy Bush (6 ft 5) George Pickens (6 ft 5) ...to throw jump balls to. UNREAL

Considering our tallest WR that played last year was 6’2 and most hovered around 5’11 this is game changing in the red zone.

With the big bodies we have at WR, will Cager even see the field? This reminds me of the DT we brought in from Notre Dame last summer, did Hayes ever crack the 2 deep for us?

Cager looks like a guy who can definitely provide some mismatch issues. It would be interesting to see some situations where we have some combination of Bush, Cager and Landers out there together. Might come in handy for the jump ball.

Some Cager highlights from Miami. Some impressive grabs.

I am happy to have him but I am stumped on how we are going to get all these guys on the field. 4 WR 6 foot 5 or taller (Cager, Landers, Bush, and Pickens. Then you have a bunch of decent sized guys like Holloway, Tongue, Blount and Blaylock. Add guys like Jackson, Simmons, and Robertson to the mix and all of the sudden you are talking about some serious talent sitting and maybe even redshirting. Crazy, when you think about how thin we seemed after the early departures to the NFL.

Iron sharpens Iron. You wanna get guys that will push each other to get on the field each and every week, and at the end of the day the best guys play. Like Kirby has continued to state, your spot is never safe from week to week.

Pretty sure you’re just going to see a lot of rotation. There will be no point at which we won’t have a mismatch or two on the field and they’ll always be fresh.

Well, it could be three tall WR initially. Isn't the running rumor that Pickens is unlikely to qualify and might wind up spending a year at prep school?

No. Not according to Americus, among others.

How is Cager's hands? a lot of Miami fans seem to think he is up and down, hands are kinda suspect at times, especially when it matters.
