It's the eve of the biggest day in UGA football history since 1980

Some of you don't remember that year, but that was a special team. Herschel burst onto the scene and was a man among boys, giving Dawg fans an excitement that we'd not seen before. There was a great supporting cast, including Buck Belue, Lindsay Scott, Eddie Weaver, Freddie Gilbert, Frank Ros, Nate Taylor, Scott Woerner, Terry Hoage, Jeff Harper. Nat Hudson, Hugh Nall, et al.

This team is every bit as special. And has had to play an extra playoff game to get to this point.

If you're a young man, you'll remember the names when you're much older. If you've played the game, you know what kind if sacrifice it took to get to this point.

Win or lose, these guys are champions. But I believe that UGA is on the verge of a special era. And it's great to be a Georgia Bulldawg.
