I'm Pretty Sure We Need the Falcons to Lose in LA

I've always been very up front about not being into the NFL. Once they're on the payroll, I really can't say that I care. (Consequently, this is why I could never root for Auburn, but I digress). Hear me out:

The future of UGA's current championship run was forged in the hiring of Dan Quinn as Falcons' HC. He hires dude from UCLA, and on NSD 2015, the AJC breaks the story, and it obviously gets to the UGA coaches who forward the info to Roquan, just hours before he signs his UCLA LOI. Obviously, we know he eventually enrolls in Athens, that June.

Kirby's first game as UGA HC returns the Dawgs back to the GA Dome for the first time since the 2012 SECCG, and finally breaks a 10 year losing streak.

The Falcons have the best season in franchise history, and make it to the Super Bowl in Feb 2017,only to embarrassingly commit the biggest faceplant in Super Bowl history.

The construction of Mercedes-Benz Stadium carries on, with the Georgia Dome's implosion to go down a month before the 2017 SECCG.

The Dawgs 2017 season is one of the best ever, while the Falcons have middling results.

Nov 11, 2017 UGA's perfect season is marred by a pitiful showing in Auburn.

The Georgia Dome, where UGA is 3-4,in SECCG and Chick-fil-A Kickoff Games, still stands.

Just 9 days after the DSOR, the Georgia Dome is imploded, and although a bit of the bad juju dust blows over onto the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, an icon of heartbreak is principally demolished.

Dec 2, 2017 UGA dismantled Auburn in the SECCG in similar fashion.

December 21st, the last of the standing Georgia Dome structure is torn down.

January 1 - Georgia beats Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl and advances to the National Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz.

January 7, Atlanta goes to LA to face the Rams. We need Todd Gurley and Alec Ogletree to have career days to complete the vampirization of the Falcons momentum, headed into the NCG.
