Fromm is entrenched for two more years after this one, and Fields is gone. Time to face the facts. The fact that Fields didn't play one snap reinforces this. The Fromm lovers will get what they want.

I guess I don't understand why some posters here like HTDawg, NCDawg52, and Hobnail think that Fields is some sort of pussy that's going to take his ball and walk.

Tua didn't play a snap in the MSU game last and that was a closer game than this. Im sure Saban the football god already knew tua was the better QB. You already forgot about that goal line stand? 7 plays?

I don't understand why some Fromm lovers think Fields is going to sit on his arse behind a far less talented QB. Fields already knows there has been no real QB competition. Hell, Smart has already wasted Fields' redshirt, and for what?

What part of there are still 5/6/7/8 games left in the season is unclear to you? I hope Fields has more maturity than you. I’m sure he does. He’s a snap away from starting and we still need him. I’m sure he’s all in for winning, sad that you aren’t.

Justin Fields is starting next year anyways. Fromm is good but I think Fields beats him out before the start of next year.

This isn’t a Fromm diss btw. I’m just making a guess.

I’m also guessing that Fields won’t hang around next year if he’s not the starter. He’s too good. I wish two great QBs could play together in this day in age but they can’t.

For what? For depth? For experience for Fields? To see what he gives our offense? He's gotten some premium snaps this season for a true freshman behind a good QB. He's had a chance to compete and mature this season. That's valuable and I'm sure it will do him a lot of good in the years to come.

You're incredible. I'm starting to think that Fields is a close friend or relative of yours or you've got a lot of money riding on him being the starter at some point this season.

If Fromm is good enough to beat Fields out he is good enough to be a top 15 pick after 3 years. If he is that then Jake leaves and Fields starting his JR and SR year. Transferring would do nothing to accelerate him playing at this point.

Fromm will be lucky if he's drafted before the 5th round after four years, unless the QB class that year is godawful. Fromm is not an NFL QB, or even close to it.

The fact of the matter is if Fromm don't Alabama in the Mercedes Benz. He is not starting next year lol will he fall 0-2 versus Tua?

So basically, you are not happy we just beat Florida, right? Man, you guys are nuts. I'll bet you were sitting in front of the TV hoping Fromm would throw 2 quick INT's so he would be pulled. Never mind he played a great game and we beat Florida....let's concentrate on saying things we don't know about.

Are you psychic, or do you just see into the future to know that Fields is leaving?

It doesn't take a psychic to see the obvious. I'm happy we won. Jake played great. I hate seeing us lose a transcendent talent because it's obvious at this point. How good could we be with that kind of player. Sadly we won't ever know.

Kirby can also spare me the shite about Justin is a really good player and we need to get him involved. It's nothing more than lip service at this point. He had a chance to get him involved when we got stuffed on 7 straight attempts at the 1 yard line.

Don’t know about Fields leaving or not...probably....but Fromm is a 4 year starter. I don’t th8nk he goes to the NFL next year but he proved today against a damn good defense that he can play the game at as high a level as needed...

If you mean that Fields will be starting for us next year, that is flatly unpossible. We have been assured repeatedly that he won't be here next year.

If Fromm can't beat Tua in their second meeting. And if smokes Fromm Justin will start the bowl game. Fromm will be seen as having a low ceiling if he looks bad against them. A four year starter should be able to get one yard for the touchdown. Can you imagine tua, cam, Deshaun, tebow, Baker getting 7 tries at the goal line and failing?
