Doing a little digging on Ian Book's completion percentage:

He's currently sporting a 61.7% completion percentage which isn't great but not too terrible I guess. For comparison, Fromm has a 75% rate which is good for #9 in the country. Book is at #71.
Breaking it down a little bit, he has a completion percentage of 58.1% in the first half and 68.8% in the 2nd. This is not a good number, because just about 66% of his passes have been in the first half (31 1st, 16 2nd). Contrast to Fromm, who attempted 77% of his passes in the first half (43 1st, 13 2nd). The difference is Fromm actually completes a higher percentage of his passes in the first half compared to the 2nd half (79.1%! 1st, 61.5% 2nd). This means that when the game is still close and and teams are still trying to be balanced on offense, Fromm does better while Book does worse (based on completion percentage, comparing 1st half to 2nd).

Tua is a better passer and just as good a runner as Book. We contained him by putting pressure on a specific side, having him run into our guys who are waiting for him.

The onus will be on our secondary. They need to hang with the receivers in order for the front 7 to have time to corral Book. Their WR don't have that one guy that scares me. Claypool is the best of the bunch, but he isn't like a Jerry Jeudy, etc. Their other receivers are on the smaller side: 5-9.5 184 and 5-10.5 173. Their TE is talented, but this is his first game back from a broken collar bone and will be rusty.

5. Clemson attacked the zone read on early downs and left overhangs on the RPO throwing lanes to get Book to 3rd-and-medium.

I think this is key. Clemson showed how to stop them offensively. DL and LB need to get after it on early downs and make them throw, get them in 3rd and 5+

What many folks are forgetting is that Book can break open and scramble! Unless we put a tight containment around him, he'll break loose for a first down and will do some damage.
