There’s just something right about a big semi-unintelligible coonass as the LSU head coach. Same thing with CKS as a local guy and player at the helm. These guys know what this means to the fans because they’ve been there.
Good for him in driving another nail in the Saban machine.

If you've ever read anything about his motivation tactics at Ole Miss, dude is fricking crazy but he's really found himself as a head coach.

I used to like LSU but their success has pulled so many peckerheads out of the wood works that I can’t tolerate them anymore. But yeah Coach O is a good dude

The thing I've come to appreciate most about Coach O is him knowing his limitations. He's a figurehead and he excels in that role. He's a helluva salesman, recruiter, face of the 'franchise'. But when it comes down to brass tacks, he defers to his coordinators during games.

I like that Coach O is from Louisiana, loves his state of Louisiana, and always talks about bringing a championship back to the state of Louisiana.
Because regionalism, nativism, etc is what makes college football great. And always will. Until it dies soon

An LSU perspective: LSU fans who are being objective know UGA has a good chance to win the SECCG. I certainly think the Tigers will win and obviously hope so. But the Dawgs can win and will fight like hell to win. But don't count on LSU's players "basking in the glory." People said that after we beat Texas and again when we beat Florida, Auburn and Alabama. It never happened. After we beat the Tide for the first time in 8 long years, The entire state went bonkers. But not the players. They stayed focused. Burrow summed up the Alabama win by saying "Beating Alabama was not our goal." Meaning, the championship is the goal. Georgia has a great team and they deserve to be in the SECCG. It will be a great game between two good teams who deserve to be there.

As far as this site goes I despise everything pertaining the boot. With that said the coonass I partied with in 2013 were good people from what I remember they were good in 04 too. The ones I tailgated beside in 2011 were some of the nicest group of people I've ever met. They kept up with me drinking too, which at that time was a feat not many people were up to those frickers earned my respect that day. Saints fans are just as shitty irl as they're here though.

Reminds me a bit of Coach Erk Russell (God rest his DGD soul). Erk was funnier though.
