Herbstreit said on Twitter that he was hearing from people at the Rose Bowl who told him Georgia fans were “coming in full force” for the College Football Playoff semifinal against Oklahoma on Jan. 1.

Apparently, Bulldogs fans are already buying up a lot of tickets for the game across the country in Pasadena, Calif.

“(Oklahoma) fans better consider the trip to avoid ‘road’ game atmosphere,” Herbstreit tweeted. “UGA fans will travel anywhere in masses.”

UGA fans are everywhere. Hell in my neighborhood alone, which is basically the downtown, there are 4 houses that have UGA fans living in them. And that doesn't include the sightings I've seen in Kalispell and Bigfork.

I go to Denver every summer, and that town is FULL of people from the state of Georgia. I can only imagine MT is the same.

I still get chills when I see pictures of Notre Dame's stadium

Yup, I'm one of them.

There's a BBQ join not far from me called Georgia Boys BBQ. They have UGA signs and stuff on the walls and play the UGA games on Saturdays, giving free drinks to Dawg fans. They also have authentic sweet tea, which is a rarity out here.

ETA: They also have great Brunswick stew, which is another item that is nearly impossible to find out this way.

I'm looking at taking a truck full from here in New Mexico. I'm the only fan, but my buddies will get loud with me. It seems like a destination trip for us just like South Bend. We will travel well.

For anyone coming in to town, if you get a chance, stop by King's Head pub in Santa Monica - their back bar is the Bulldog Room. British bulldogs, yes, but they have a decent bit of UGA stuff, too.

I watched the ND game at a UGA game watching party in Denver......there were 300 people there...and another 260 in Boulder according to the organizer.....

Not many of us in New Mexico though......

When I was in the service living just off Colfax on Moline, there was a Georgia Boys just down the road that served baked potatoes cooked in a vat of pine resin. Best damn potato I ever ate.
Wonder if it's the same place? That was over 40 years ago.

I don't think so. This one is pretty new. First location opened up in a converted house probably 6 years ago and then they opened up one in Frederick a year or two ago. The owners are a couple of guys from Georgia that moved out here to make good BBQ. I'm thankful for it, too.
