I caught a turtle and snagged and lost 2 rigs today. You catch those on a jig or under a cork?

PS: well played on the Fish Wrapper...

PPS: that guy who told you how to butterfly a fish is onto something. And for frying - two parts yellow cornmeal, one part corn flour, couple of teaspoons of paprika, S & P to taste. Deep frying > pan frying. Crappie filets shouldn’t take more than 3-4 mins.

Ok so those little crappie count? I wish I had known about this. I got a pond on my farm that you can catch those on every cast. We put 47 on a stringer and threw another 50 in the creek below the damn. No shite.

4/20 I'm going to be toking it up at G-Day and there's a cool surf rock thing going on at Little Kings afterward.

Pick another weekend. Do you have a child and a canoe/kayak?

The info I gathered from the cajuns was spot on.

11/10.

ETA- they may not be good for much, but when it comes to catching Sac-a-lait, Lessez temp something something.

You use that same boning knife to whittle those waffle fries?

If so 9.5/10

It was “rigged.” And quite deeply so I might add.

Damn yall know how to make a man homesick. My wife was in Athens 2 weeks ago and wouldn't tell me if the dogwoods were in bloom 'cause she knew I would be dragging the boat 2500 miles to yellow jacket creek.....all we have up here are trash fish....I always thought salmon fishing was something special until I found out they only eat stink bait and died shrimp 3 hours from the coast and there hasn't been a billfish caught since 1997. No specks, reds, nothing but walleye, salmon and smallmouth which are nothing more than overgrown warmouth. Its depressing......duck, geese and upland gunning is world class though so a man can get by....

Superior to crappie... nothing to be jealous of. You need to make some yankee friends that talk like Al Lindner to show you how to catch them. They use those funny looking jig heads on rocky areas. That's about all I know.

ETA- where are you?
