We’re a 1-loss team, but the 1 loss is the same loss that we can never climb past. We have the OC now, just have to find the QB.
Gotta have a Qb to play today. Can’t have a field general, defense can be questionable. CFB is all about tossing the ball and better not anyone lay a hand on anyone.

Our defense is nasty when they don’t get held and they don’t get drive extending calls against them. It was really sad to watch. Bama is a good team. It’s a shame they didn’t get to play a fair game. .

Dumb take.

What an absolute dog shite performance. This amazing defense got hit for 41 points and damn near 600 yards. Absolute fricking garbage. This team is nowhere close to being a champion of anything.
First half was good. We don’t have the WRs or QB to compete for sixty minutes.

Exactly right. We don’t have a QB plain and simple. This team is plenty good to beat Alabama... just need someone taller than 5-6

Yet we have SBIV at QB. No excuse for that. None. Jamie Newman or not.

Our defence we was on the field too much tonight. I told someone at half time, the key to this game would be conditioning. And our defense just couldn’t keep up at the end of the day. Because our offense didn’t control TOP enough

We definitely have the receivers. They had a bad game tonight, but we can make them work.

Stetson missed on two deep passes tonight that would have been points and he’s missed on the deep passes all year. Wanna beat them? Blow the top of that secondary a few times and drastically calms Alabama down.

I did have mixed feelings when Bennett came in and played well. I knew then it would be hard to not start him but that he had a low ceiling for the future big games like this.

I’m not worried about it honestly... You kinda had to think we weren’t winning this game with all the BS calls and missed opportunities. The team realized it. We’re definitely there... just need a QB

Not these Bama receivers. Wasn’t Devonta Smith committed to us at one point?

I’m not normally a negative dawg, just saying we should see what Mathis can do again. Stetson will do what he’s done if he sits out a series, just saying
Like I said....talent should have lead tonight.

How many times did we punt in the second half? We didn't score a single point in the second half. Interceptions and dropped passes doomed us.

This team has excellent WR. 8 batted balls, 3 ints, and 6 other key misses (before I stopped counting).
QB play lost that game - period. Blatantly obvious.
The question is are we satisfied with the current ceiling or are we rolling the dice to try for chip?

It feels like collectively we're regressing, vs Bama. First it took us two overtimes to lose, then in the 2018 SEC Championship, we lost in regulation. Last night, it only took 45 minutes to lose the lead for good. Either they're going to have to shorten the games to less than 60 Minutes, or we're going to have to get better.

They’ve just evolved. That offense (and QB play) they ran last night was unrecognizable from the one Hurts ran in 2017.

Bama won the line of scrimmage last night. In that sense, we definitely regressed because we were much better in 2017 and 2018.
Is that a sign of the future? Who knows.

Did we though? The way I saw the game is we lost because of QB play. When Bennett's balls started getting batted down he started floating the ball. He over threw a 6'8 TE for goodness sake. Bama Punted 4 times.............we punted 4 times. Averaged over 5 yards per rush. Definitely if Bennett was a 6' + QB he would have been more successful.
