Apparently was done Tuesday but just heard it today.

Was asked who impressed him in camp Kirby said Nakobe Dean was the most impressive freshman he'd ever seen as a coach. Said his football acumen, instincts and focus were offa the charts. Said he does everything right the 1st time and expects him to be an impact player this year.

On the O side he said Charlie Woerner is prolly the best athlete on the team and should have a monster year.

He thinks Monty Rice could be a beast this year.

Talked a good bit about DRob and Pickens at the wideout position and the opportunities the both have if they work hard.

Compared Zeus's situation to Chubbs in that both looked good coming offa injuries but until he gets hit we just wont know.

SIAP if already discussed but was good stuff.

I couldn't link but it's on the 680 page from Tuesday with Chuck Oliver...

Boy Woerner could help matters for sure.

Hopefully he's right about Dean, because we didn't have a single ILB last year that played with anticipation. Routinely late to the ball on running plays and left receivers unattended on a regular basis. Without big improvement there, we won't win anything in 2019.

Last year we were thin at ILB and no one stood out. This year there's tons of talent.

It's rare for you and I to agree, so gotta call it out when I sees it.

Definitely felt like ILB was a very deficient position last year. Monty was playing hurt, so maybe there's something there, but it seems like either athletically or reaction/anticipation wise, he wasn't ready. Hopefully he takes a big step and Dean either seizes a big role or challenges a guy like Tindall or someone else to step up and take a spot as well.

As with most things where I'm not an expert, it's easier to spot a past problem than it is to know how to fix it or predict the future. Anybody who re-watches our games with a rewind button can see that the ILB'ers struggled mentally and to a lesser extent physically.

I heard the same interview and with all due respect, mr Dallas, you are slightly embellishing what he said.
