Fromm Didn't Take Us Anywhere Last Year

People were still questioning his passing ability all the way up to the Rose Bowl. He barely threw the ball last year and when he did, it was mostly 50/50 balls to Wims(NFL WR). He is being exposed this year and have been reduced to splitting time with a true freshman who doesn't know the playbook. Nauta saved his bacon with that fumble recovery, we could have ended up like Auburn and the season is over with Kentuc...Kentucky winning the East. That's worst than Mizzou winning the east by far.
How will we do this mickey mouse 2 quarterback system offense? 3 years? Our version of Deshaun Watson would have tranfered by then. I hope Downing can run the read option but I'm sure Kirby would let him throw it around

Fromm was only the 2nd true Freshman QB in 33 years to lead his team to the NC
His QBR was 6th in the country...BTW QBR definition
Threw 24 TD's 7 INTs 61% and 160 QB rating...best numbers ever by Freshman QB @ UGA including redshirt Freshmen (Green and Murray)
If you wanna rip on him for the LSU game and some of this season I get it but you make yourself look idiotic for ripping on his '17 season.We don't win the SEC or get to the NC without him.

Yes. In a game we won by 26 points, one fumble recovery would have been the difference.

And some of the guys here think I can be a moron when it comes to football. This is the most dumbest comment Ive seen. Fromm is in no way perfect and has had bad moments this season but Ill be damned - Guess what? That Freshman took us to the Natty last year.
You also seem to not mention that we are playing with a shite load of freshmen this year. Or are you putting all of the blame on Fromm alone?

A lot of ignorance being spouted on this board since the LSU loss. No, one person didn't take us all the way last year it was a team effort, and inserting Fields isn't going to make us any better as a team this year. Fields has shown that he can run the ball but talented teams will load the box and make him throw to win, with LSU's secondary, I doubt he would have done any better There is plenty of blame to go around for the loss. Anyone who reasonably thought we'd go undefeated this year and back to the "Ship" needs to take off their blinders and see this team for what it is, young and mostly inexperienced. We are not Bama East. We haven't gotten to the point that we just reload with game ready talent on signing day. We trounced the weaker teams we've played so far and the team as a whole has gained much needed experience across the board. Playing with back ups on the O line, D line didn't help us any Saturday, and Chaney going away from the run early killed us.

We lost star players who were upperclassmen on both sides of the ball and we are now very obviously not as good as we were. Fromm Does not looks as good without Sony in the backfield.
For Christ sake Sony and Chubb put the team on their backs and won the damn rose bowl. SONY called an audible and ran for a touchdown on the play. He’s a good game manager, he used to protect the football well, but his name will not be among Greene Stafford and Murray.
