With Franks? No. With the Ghost of Christmas Present? Could be.

Yep. UF can actually compete a little bit with Trask.

That horrible target penalty on the dlineman with the QB lowering his head was up there with some of the horrible calls in the scu Bama game

I agree. That was a horrible targeting call.

Damn not that I’m worried but it’s have been nice to have a game up lead on Florida. Typical Kentucky...

Mullen is a total fraud. I approve and celebrate that fact.

They definitely got better when he went down. Same re: USCjr. Let's just hope Guarantano stays healthy.

The Tennessee game could be interesting this weekend. Not gonna hold my breath, but it would be glorious if Pruitt's secondary found a way to shut down Trask.

While i think Trask is a definite upgrade from Franks, Kentucky did not put much pressure on him. They let him get comfortable.

Pruitt has to be getting itchy for a big, signature win. he is going to pull out all of the stops to beat Florida, imo.

I suspect Tennessee will try to pressure Trask....a lot.
If Trask struggles Pruitt could have his upset. If Trask stays cool under pressure and grows it could be trouble. I honestly don't think Florida should stay on the field with us. But it is a huge rivalry game and they will be ready and probably play their best game of the year against us.

They had him sacked and lost a great pass rusher to a bogus targeting call

It looked like Kentucky struggled to make adjustments to Trask after Franks went down, and were also missing a couple of players due to targeting ejections.

It will be interesting to see how Trask plays against a UT defense that has prepared for him all week.

KY went cover-3 zone and allowed the UF receivers 10-12 yards of cushion on every play. When they did pressure the passer, it resulted in a bogus targeting call that got a lineman ejected and then there was even less pressure on Trask.

Still...UK might could have won the thing if they'd had a kicker who could hit a 35 yard FG. I didn't understand why UK stopped attacking on defense. Bonehead coaching decision.

Addition by subtraction can be very real, especially at quarterback. Just ask the New England Patriots.

Alpaca was on pace to be the best UGA QB ever. Better than Casey Clausen even.

That QB looked at a spot and threw to it. He was smart enough to read the zone coverage. When they put heat on him, he forced it and he got lucky. Can’t take away what he did. It is not easy to come off the bench like that and win a game, but KY didn’t attack him and force him to make reads. That targeting play was huge and likely they would not have won if that didn’t get called.

Kentucky can blow a game with the best of them. The stars and moon have to be perfectly aligned to not blow a game against a team like Fla.

In a number of ways Kentucky is just not a well-coached team. Maybe they are expecting too much out of their talent level. Perhaps this is what you get with their talent.

Franks, I think is much more of a run threat than the replacement guy. My guess is this is the reason Franks was the starter.

I thought Kentucky played soft on both sides of the ball in the 2nd half. No aggression on defense and no real attempt to move the ball on offense. It looked like they were afraid to play hard.
