Surely you jest? Fangio is rumored to be the next Broncos coach and I don't think he has much if any college experience, and he certainly doesn't have any recruiting experience.

I’m not a 247 guy, but the name floating around right now is Tosh Lupoi.

I did a little reading over at 247 and it's all about Tosh and no word at all on Fangio.

Clark Lea from Notre Dame interests me. He did a hell of a job stepping in for elko this year and he is an SEC alum.

I think the majority of us would like to see a former Dawg on the staff. Champ and Hines would be a nice combo to have aboard.

On 680 Rusty said it was somebody who new the system so Tosh would make sense. He said there was some smoke.

Not saying we should hire either as a major coaching position like DC or even OC. Just saying that it would be nice to have either or both of them on the staff in some form.

What’s the draw to leave Bama for Georgia?

Sometimes you have to do a little reading between the lines. Fangio is a leading NFL defensive coordinator who's in the running for an NFL head coaching position. He's 60 years old and has spent almost his entire career in pro ball.

The poster who said that was either trolling or delusional.

I looked up Vic and his resume. Thought it would be a little odd for Kirby to consider someone like him.

Getting fired by Saban.

The draw for Lupoi is avoiding getting fired by Saban. Bama's defensive coaching sucked this year.

So there’s two issues there: He hasn’t been fired and, if he gets fired, we’re hiring the fired guy responsible for Bama not being great defensively this year...

If we are lucky enough to land lupoi, i have no worries on defense. Coach smart can help him but he wont need it imo
