He’s picked us to beat Bama and beating Clemson on NC game and Bama fans calling in going off. Finebaum commenting how funny it is Bama fans eating their own.
But Sheridan bearing down on the fact Dawgs better top to bottom better than Bama this year.

Pretty sure it’s not a fact

Ok, semantics but it’s hilarious listening to these Bama fans in ultimate meltdown.

If Georgia and Alabama keep playing each other sooner or later somebody is going to blow that game open. With Tua leading that offense, with Jeudy and those WR’s and RB’s, Alabama stands a better chance of doing that than Georgia. Chaney used Fromm’s back shoulder accuracy to isolate and pick on Alabama’s secondary with Ridley and Hardeman the last two games. Not sure I have confidence in a young, unproven group of receivers being able to do the same.

Meh. While our receivers are young they are still uber talented. I'd argue the slot will be a push as D-Rob is very similar to Mecole. We might take a hit in the early season until Pickens learns the playbook and gets acclimated but I think once he does he will be better than Wims and Holloman were by the end of the year. TE wasn't used much outside of the Florida game and it's not hard to teach a TE to block which is what they did most of the time anyways. I hear good things about Simmons but I think he will be our biggest wildcard.

All in all if we can survive the first 4 games (which would shock me if we can't run the ball in any of those) we will be just fine.

If we play Bama, it will be at the end of the season in the SECCG at the earliest, which means those 'young, unproven group of receivers' won't be young and unproven anymore. They will have gone through a whole season of SEC football.

Justin Ross was about as young as you could get...top WR out of Alabama....If we only had one of those

RB and WR are the easiest positions to transfer from high school to college. I'm not worried about WR because the talent is very obviously there.

Talent is for sure there. They aren't experienced now, but they will be by the end of the regular season
