Damn Proud to be a Dawg!

Even though there was some shitty play calling and some really shitty officiating last night, the guys played their hearts out. The last play of the game was, for me, heartbreaking, but we got there and we will get there again next year and hopefully for many years more under Kirby.
We are losing a lot of defensive players this year along with Sony and Nick but UGA is going to come back in 9 months with a vengeance.
Remember, we are still SEC CHAMPIONS! And there are only two teams that can claim they went to the big game this year! Looking forward to kicking arse again in September!

Amen to that... I was 16 the last time UGA played in a legitimate NC game and we lost that one too. Back then we had 3 years of HW34 and it was begining to be expected of UGA to be at least in the top 5 every year. Lately though 2002 could have been a playoff team, 2007 we were ranked 4th and two teams ranked in front of us lost but we still didn't get bumped to 2nd to play in the NC (LSU leap frogged us), 2012 we were yards short in Atl against Bama, and now we had this season that we just had. All in all I can say I enjoyed this one the most including 1980. I guess I was only 14 then and didn't realize what was going on. But yes it is damned good to be a dawg right now!!!!

As sad as I want to be, I am finding it hard just because of how bright our future seems. Go Dawgs! We will be back.
