Glad he's realized he needs to step it up. Kinda sad that it took an "epiphany" for him to understand that he wasn't putting in enough time while averaging under 40 yards a punt last year.

Its a travesty that we don't have somebody on staff at some level or on retainer to help kickers and punters with technique. It sounds like they just go to practice everyday and wing it.

He is probably just feeling the pressure. Kid whose mom I worked with just got moved up to second in the depth chart. Has a huge leg and was putting in work everyday. I can't say the same for Barber...Hoping to see the guy hit the field if Barber still is punting with a noodle leg.

The problem is... who on this staff would you let go to bring in a ST coach? You're capped at 9 assistants. That's why folks like CMB and CBS were also the QBs coach as well as OC.
