Tell me about this softball thing. I'm thinking of trying to take my daughter (who has zero interest in softball to this point and is far more likely to end up going the volleyball route, assuming she does anything) to tomorrow's daddy/daughter game. What should I know?

We will be there !!!
Leaving the wife behind this time
The Jack is a great place to watch some great atheletes compete
LSU won the series already but it will be a great game by two teams who could easily end up on Oklahoma City (softballs version of Omaha)
My daughter did both and landed in softball. She stllls plays basketball for something to do between school and travel softball
Usually thanksgiving to late January softball goes quiet..
Volleyball is also great. Volleyball is easier for the parents for sure as it’s always inside and games are about an hour. I enjoyed also great athletes
But if she is good travel volleyball is as expensive as softball and long days.
I let my daughter try everything from basketball to softball, volleyball to theater she landed on softball but she bounced around a bit until she found her calling. I am sure your daughter will find hers but give softball a try !!!
If you go to the gamewe will be sitting right behind the LSU bench
Looking like
This
The Jack is always fun and it’s free. Great stadium and atmosphere
Oh and I apologize in advance for the LSU guy yelling the whole time with wrestling belt
He is new and a bit obnoxious
Sorry for the delayed response was at a softball tournament just got home. First game was 8am !!!!

No worries, brother! I appreciate the input! We may not make it after all, though. I suggested it to the wife and got shot down. We shall see.....

Well Bummer. We go to a lot of Games at the Jack. If you plan to go in the future let us know..
Of course after this weekend we will be back in our Red and Black cheering the Lady Dawgs.
Looks like a great Baseball series this weekend. I wish we had this every year. LSU baseball and softball comes to town.

Volleyball games are fun. If I was ever finishing my workout in Ramsey and noticed a match was going on I’d stop and watch for a bit.
