Neither teams look like world beaters. We can easily beat both. Granted, with performances like today, we can also lose to both. Point being, there’s still a lot left to play for. Win the East and we’ll like head to a NY6 bowl, and we return a lot of pieces for next season. Hell, maybe we can catch Bama with their pants down in the SECCG and frick around and win the conference again. Doubtful, but not an impossibility. It was a bad, bad game today but there’s still a lot of football left to be played.

Fromm doesn't have it in him to beat either.

Can he beat them if we try to throw it 40 times? No probably not. That’s not where he excels. Can he beat them if Chaney calls a balanced game and he takes what the defense gives him instead of forcing the ball down the field? Absolutely.

Jake is a much different player in very hostile environments. Jordan-Hare and Tiger Stadium are not easy venues to play. Neither game will be in overly hostile venues; one at a neutral site and one at Commonwealth, an away game but not one known for being a difficult place to play.

He had two great RBs and a great defense. He has neither this year. He is shite. You guys can continue to kiss his arse if you want to.

Exactly. Hand his arse a clipboard for the rest of the season and take your lumps with Fields. Get him seasoned for next year.

In no way am I kissing his arse. I think Fields is the more talented QB but Fromm likely had the support of the locker room and has a better knowledge of the offense. I understand the reason for starting him, but the lack of snaps for Fields is criminal, IMO. Absolutely no reason to leave him on the bench.

I don’t understand how me saying he sucked today means I’m kissing his arse. He was awful. Absolutely awful. But he’s a top 10-15 QB in the NCAA. He isn’t shite.
We have to get him better acclimated on the road. His first halves on the road, even going back to last season were bad. If that’s consistent, we need to make some playcalling adjustments.

I wonder if that is so and if it is how long it will continue. Seemed to be some frustration by some open receivers today.

Fromm is really bad in first halfs in general. Home and away.

The play calling and personnel are a mess because we don't have an identity on offense. Obviously Chaney's play calling is a big part of that, but Kirby is ultimately responsible.

Which is why I said “had” instead of “has”. Definitely some frustration today and if he continues to struggle, the offensive players will want Fields to get a chance to make things right.

He's marginally better than Hutson Mason and Greyson Lambert, at best. He's a game manager with limited physical skills. He will never be drafted into the NFL. That kind of guy should not be starting for UGA.
