Based on all the Brian Kelly interviews, they are going to come after Fromm,

Big-time, not worried about the line, but do worry about missed assignments.

UCLA isn't for a few years

seriously though, I'm not worried about our OL one bit.

That would be their worst possible strategy. Our OL isn't letting them through and Fromm will feast in the middle of the field off their blitzes.

I’m just glad we ran him outta Philly.

This is what gets our O-line. They need to fix this small issue and they would easily control the whole game

And then Fromm feasts on their secondary

They planning on doing a better job of it with better personnel than we have in the SEC?

And then Fromm passes for 400 yards and 5 TDs.

I think their D will be in attack mode, on run and passing downs.

I wish we'd do the same on defense. After all the talk about havoc, I'm not convinced there's much change in Kirby's passive defensive scheme. We have more speed off the edge than last year, but Notre Dame has the best OL we've faced so far. If we use the same style of defense we had against Vandy, we'll have to score a lot of points to win.

If I was Kelly, I'd do the same thing. Fromm is a statue and if you blitz the kid he either throws it away or takes one on the chin.

I'm looking for Fromm to put us on his back and seize this game. Right now, he's the third best QB in the conference.

I've been watching a QB that hasn't won a truly big game since he had a left tackle and a running back who are starters for the Patriots

Cool, specifically which games are you talking about. Don't just throw out random shite without backing it up.

LSU 2018
Alabama 2018
Texas 2018

Our three toughest games, we took L's on all of them. If we're going to give him this much praise then the scrutiny needs to be equal to that.

I don't care what could've/should've happened in those games. When you're the QB, you either win or lose. No one cares that Manning didn't have Belichick, he doesn't have as many rings as Brady. No one cares that Lebron James lost to better teams, when you're "the man" you lose or you win and the discussion follows suit.

I'll just save us the time.

He's going to cite the LSU loss I"m sure, but if that counts as a truly big loss, you have to count UF and AU (and hell, UK if going by ranking and the east was on the line) as truly big wins. So all those cancel out. Also the players in question left after 2017 so we're only working with one season of data here. So basically, his entire point is that we lost the SECCG last year to bama, a game in which fromm threw for 300 yards, 3 TDs and 0 interceptions and the defense gave up 35 points. He'll probably also point out the sugar bowl, although I'm not sure if you can count that as "truly big" since all it would have gotten us would be a #6 ranking instead of 7 or 8.

Have I summed it up well enough jo?

Joe Burrow went out there and wouldn't allow LSU to lose, he took the game by the balls and made clutch throws.

lol

they lost 3 times actually, including not scoring a single solitary point against alabama. They also lost to the same top 10 UF team that we beat by 3 TDs. Did burrow just not feel like allowing LSU to win those games, or perhaps there's more to wins and losses than just the QB?
