Are we sleeping on Holyfield/Herrien?

With the recent news on Zeus (hope he can recover, what a terrible hand to be dealt), do we expect to see more Holyfield/Herrien? They've obviously been behind Sony and Chubb since they've been here and now all the hype is on on the younger guys.
Y'all heard any good things about them?

I think Holyfield can be very good behind our offensive line. Last year, it seemed like Herrien wanted to bounce everything outside. Hopefully, he has broken that habit.

I don’t think were sleeping on them, we just know what we have in them: two good not great backs. We’ve been so spoiled with the likes of Chubb/Sony and Gurley/Marshall that having Swift as the only evident super back is kind of weird. But I think Holyfield and Herrien will be more than serviceable and Cook could be special too. With our passing attack it won’t be as necessary for us to ground and pound as we have in last years. Add in Fields Running ability and we’re going to be fine.
Again, good teams find a way

yeah I don't think we're sleeping on them, we just know what we have with them. Herrien is a good backup but if he's getting major carries something has gone wrong. Look at bama, the #1 team we're competing with nationally at the moment..do you think BH would get any carries with them? Or hell even have a scholarship? Doubtful. Holyfield is more talented and can do some good things but he's still not a guy you necessarily want getting 10-15 carries a game.
We're gonna have to lean heavily on Swift and hopefully cook is as good as advertised. And holyfield in the 2nd half is a guy that can pound out some yards late to wear teams down. And as mentioned I'm looking for us to pass quite a bit more this year. We have every weapon in the book you could want from a passing game.

Most are sleeping on Holyfield. I am not. He has potential to be very productive.

Cook/Swift will be another special duo. Holyfield and Herrien give us good depth. Can’t lose another of them

Most teams would kill for Swift, Cook, Holyfield & Herrein - especially with our line doing the blocking.

I see it like this Swift number 1, Holyfield at 2 spot, Cook at 3 and Herrien in clean up duty. Herrien needs to learn how to run more north/south instead of sideline to sideline in my opinion. We will be just fine with those four backs. Still the best RB crew in the nation.

I have faith in all those guys including Prather Hudson. Hudson looked really solid on G Day. Holyfield is really underrated.

We've only seen enough of Holyfield to know he has performed incredibly well when given a chance. We know he's very good, but we haven't seen enough to know if he will be great. Herrien is a good solid back who will be more productive because he will be given more chances. Holyfield will be a thousand yard rusher in my opinion, assuming he gets enough carries.

I'll flip these 2 actually. I think Herrien can be a very very solid running back. Will be get enough carries for 1K yards? Doubtful.
I'm just not convinced Holyfield is a better back than Herrien based on what I've personally seen.

What have you seen? Herrian isnt the fastest, yet he tries to run outside all the time.
Holyfield has been impressive in his short time. He runs hard, with aggression between the tackles, and is probably just as fast as Herrien.

I'm just telling you what I've seen. Bookmark my post if you want to. I don't care if I'm wrong Evander.

Did you miss 2017?

In a word, "Yes".
Herrien has a "flash" of speed that maybe only Cook has.
Holyfield imho is more Chubb like in that he's a more bruising/power back.
If we had not signed White/Cook we would have been ecstatic to have those 2 proven backs in the backfield.
I think the signing of those two took some of the focus off them, but I look for them to shine when the lights come on, and then everyone will be surprised when in all actuality, they shouldn't be.

Holyfield seems like a guy that will get you 3 to 5 physical yards on a play. The kind that wear down defenses. I like him this year as someone who can get those yard for us.

I don’t know...Holyfield looked fast as shite running that kickoff (or punt) for a td that got called back

Holyfield has looked impressive for the small sample size. Herrien's always been solid. I'm just excited to see the holes this line will open up for all the backs this year. We're getting yards no matter who's in the backfield.
