Everyone knows the inexplicable loss to SC means we must now run the table to keep our playoff hopes alive. Everyone also knows we have a rough schedule ahead of us that will make it very difficult to achieve.

What frightened me even prior to the season's start were the string of bye weeks our opponents will have prior to playing us. Although both Georgia and FL have a bye before the WLOCP, our next 2 opponents (Mizzou, AU) have a bye week before they play us as well. Our bye weeks will be exhausted by then (our team may be as well).

We simply couldn't afford to lose to SC. We needed to keep a mulligan in our pocket for the latter portion of our schedule. Amen corner looms, and escaping unscathed will be a massive undertaking. Time to circle the wagons.

Or you could look at it as Georgia going ahead and learning their lesson before we play teams we are more than capable of beating.

There’s no room for error now and the boys know that.

We already have a bunch of lingering injuries on the OL, DL, WR, and secondary. People tend to ignore it if they're not season ending, but they're a big part of the problem. Those three extra bye week opponents were a bag of coal from somebody in the SEC office and unless the team somehow gets healthier we're not likely to get through unscathed.

It sucks and same thing happened last year.No other team comes close to having 5 bye opponents.
Bama is next with 3.

Its bullshite and I hope our pussy AD takes it up with the SEC office but I highly doubt it.
