Todd just took a hardened veteran's lunch money and then rushed for a cool 159

That was how Dirty Dancing was supposed to end.

That play was pretty good by Gurley, but he did not slam him like everyone is making it out to be. 1st CM is jumping up so Gurley lifting him up into the air isn't as hard if CM didn't jump. 2, CM lands on his lineman for most of the drop and he didn't get slammed.
Now was that a great block by Gurley, YES! Did he slam the all pro CM like someone would slam in WWE? No. I would call this slam closer to being like Blake Griffin's "Dunk".

quote:I enjoyed it, but it is just click bait and you guys fail for it. I would use the term slam loosely [insert sex joke]. It was an excellent play for him and team, whats not to love? No need to overhype it.

What click bait? It's a gif. Try not to shite on every single thread. Deal?

It's a clip of the most exciting player we've seen in the red and black in a long, long time showing that he is back to his true form. And that's after coming back when the season was already over from a winning the East standpoint and tearing his ACL.
If that doesn't make you excited/happy for him, then something is wrong. I remember how awful I felt for him when he tore his ACL, seeing him do what we all knew he could is awesome.
Let's hope we are posting the same type of things about Chubb in a few years as well.

You said body slamming all pros. I don't see any body slams, or maybe you youngins got a different meaning for body slam now.

I'm not a rasslin' aficionado but it looked to me like Gurley stood his ground, grabbed Matthews in the air, and threw him to the side/ground.
I DGAF what the technical terms are for it, it was badass.

That's not a dunk. As someone who used to have dunking ability, I refuse to accept that as a dunk.

Happy for Tud.
However if Matthews would have just keep running through Gurley instead of the high flying act it would have been a heck of collision.
