A&M will start freshman Chris Weber tomorrow. 4-1 on the year with a 3.34 ERA with a .256 OBA

Didnt notice this until now, but all top seeds caught a huge break this past weekend. Army upset Navy in the Patriot League final, meaning no #1 seed will have to face Navy, and their ace Noah Song(would be 1st rd pick if not for service commitment).
We need to cheer for teams like Samford, Jacksonville State, Florida Gulf Coast, and Georgia Southern. The more small schools that win from Georgia and adjecent teams will surely mean we will miss Elon or Campbell, who both have potential first round picks as their aces. Florida A&M has already helped out and won their conference. Let them stay in North Carolina and play in either Raleigh, Chapel Hill, or Greenville.

Just goes to show no matter how good your team is during the regular season, it still takes a fair amount of lucky breaks to make it through the postseason and on to Omaha when the season starts all over for a 3rd time

Yep, and hopefully NC State or North Carolina take care of business and gets a home regional, so the other team can go to East Carolina, leaving no ACC teams for a #2 seed.
Would leave us with a northern team(UCONN, Indiana, Illinois, Illinois State) and then a lower tier ACC team as the #3(Clemson, Florida State, Virginia).
Would be the perfect regional for us. Of course we'd still have to perform unlike last year.

Glad to see that we cant even hit the ball even close to hard through the first six guys, and yes, Elliot doesnt look that sharp so far.
