more like the damon evans bullshite. Switched our bats right before the postseason and homers we'd hit all season were weak little baby flys in omaha. Busted bats galore. All becuase of some retarded contract/money situation.
If we keep our same bats we had ALL SEASON LONG we're the 2008 champs and nothing will ever convince me otherwise as long as I live.

Never heard of that. I know fresno was an Easton school and we were nike. Easton had composite and nike was still using aluminum.

Dawgs hve now won 19 of our last 20. That’s fricking absurd. That counts LSU, Mizzou, Auburn, SEC Tournament, Regional, and Super Regional. We have also beaten a very good Mississippi State 6/6 times in one year.
The only analogue I have for this squad is 2017 football. Nothing short of a magical run. Foley was unhinged all weekend. Hoping this is enough to get the stadium expanded and butts in seats. We wasted the success of the Perno years, hoping Brooks is wise enough not to let that happen again.
What a year. Had a feeling we might have something but never thought we would have this.
To Omaha we go, and win or lose this has been one of the greatest seasons in UGA history!

I’ve been checking flights and hotels for the past week but it’s $1500+ not counting actual tickets, food/drink, and uber for a Friday-Sunday tilt. Really want to work it out but my kids are still young so I’ve got be somewhat responsible

I blame myself for the Jinx. I hadn’t watched a single minute until the 2nd out in 08… and we all know how that ended. I believe it’s only fitting I redeem myself for UGA’s sake and bring it home this year.

Yeah the composites vs aluminum was definitely not a fair fight. We slugged pretty well all year with the nikes though. Rosenblatt was huge. Fresno mashed but losing the series after winning game one was rough

I was on my Honeymoon at the time. First and only time in my career I’ve turned off my phone completely (no work email checking, calls, quick peeks, etc). Promised the wife I wouldn’t even go on the internet, except for 3 times to check in on the Dawgs in the championship series
Won’t happen this time. I’ll be watching it all ;)
Go Dawgs and appreciate ya TD for the updates and some play by play when I can’t follow as closely
