5 months left til signing day and we aren’t pressing hard on the front end with NIL. We are fine now and will continue to be fine moving forward.

It depends on what you mean when you say "key recruits".
No program gets every single recruit they go after. Not us, Alabama or Ohio State.

I think of "key recruit" as a highly ranked player at a position of need.
Our needs going into this cycle, imo, was at NT, 3T and 5T, safety, LB, (lumping LBs in together..ILB and OLB)and TE, WR.
(Some of these more critical than others)

At NT we pulled in one of the top 2-3 NTs in the country in Jamaal Jarrett.
3T we are in it firmly for Jordan Hall and James Smith. (Heavy favorites right now for Hall)
5T we are heavy in it for Kamran James and Kelby Collins (probably get one of those)
At safety we pulled Joenel Aguero. Aguero is a strong safety type and we still need a free safety type, but have a couple of CB commits that could move there, if necessary.
LB we got three fo the best ILBs in the country in CJ Allen, Raylen Wilson and Troy Bowles.
OLB we got Gabe Harris (Staff is very high on him from whaat I have read) and ares till in it for M'Pemba and Damon Wilson (#1 or #2 OLB)
TE we pulled Spurlin and Luckie...two of the best
WR we are in it for a bunch: Hykeem Williams, Raymond Cottrell, Tyler Williams, Anthony Evans (speed demon) got Yazeed Haynes (Another speed guy), Tyler Williams and a couple of others.

Yes, we missed on Justice Haynes and Caleb Downs, but for the immediate future we are ok, and will probably go after a late riser at RB.

Again...what is your definition of "key recruits"? I guess that would give us a better starting spot for a conversation.

NOTE: I am not a recruiting guru by any measure. I get most(Vast majority) of my information from the other board.

Just picked up 2024's 5th best RB Tovani Mizell from Dematha Catholic. 6'1", 195. 107th player at 247 (94th at espn) for 2024.

This smells NIL related. He was like 90% us then this afternoon everyone starts flipping their CBs to OU. Idk.

SWING and miss…again. Coaches better get on the ball or we might drop out of the top 10 classes.

Definitely can't think of a team winning the Natty and being this low. You can say it's early all you want but somethings off.

Wouldn’t it be a good idea for our coaches to change with the times then?

They seem to be waiting to pitch their NIL deals until December. Or maybe they have a different approach. Let's see how it plays out before we freak out.

My mother in law ebays.

You don't throw down your best offer until 20 seconds are left.
Just stay in touch, do the right things, and be financially prepared.

Kirby is probably smarter than my MIL (no pix).

Kirby may also be looking at the Portal. He’ll close strong. Always has and always will. He’ll make all the doubter’s look dumb AF. Trust me… I know first hand from experience.

Dawgs getting CB's for a top 100 OT. Speaking of OT, Joshua Miller got a nice article on both 247 and Rivals after his first game of the season. Looks like another future 3* NFL lineman.

Yeah… he plays near Peter Bucks old stomping grounds. Needs to add some weight but an elite and rare body frame.

And moved up to the #3 Recruiting class. In before, "what's going on with our recruiting".
