Interesting. I wonder what is going on there. Some of our guys feel pretty strongly that he will be in our class. Hopefully they are right. We all know how recruiting can be.
Read on another site that James is concerned he isn't good enough to compete at UGA. If that's true, that is shocking considering the ego it takes to play big time college athletics. I would also say the coaching staffs at both Bama and UGA do not have a similar opinion of Mr. James.

That's interesting. Could go both ways - either he plays lights out to prove or he has a defeatist mentality

Hey guys. I don’t follow recruiting super close..see we have no 4 or 5 star OL 2022 currently. We feel good about the 3 stars we have? Did we miss on some guys or have any pending?

There's just no immediate playing time available and we were beat for the two we wanted in Nichols and the kid going Bama. We are still in it for this cat from Cali though.

Developmental cycle. As Porter noted, we are stacked with current roster. Affords us a cycle to take some projects with high ceilings who could pan out down line but aren’t guarantees and who certainly won’t be expecting early PT. Also creates some class separation with guys like Jones, Mims, and Ratledge for 2023 to start reeling in higher rated guys

Kid has heart and an edge. We’ve seen guys with similar temperaments like Ben Jones and Boss Andrews develop into longtime NFL IOL stalwarts as a result. Doesn’t mean it’ll happen but it’s worth seeing what we can mold in a year like this. Blaske was a take in a similar vein and he’s coming along, has a nice pancake against Charleston Southern on Saturday
