Circling back to a discussion you and I had a few weeks ago....insider on other site now says Christen Miller is 100% a take.

Yes, I saw that! Great news! I hope we can close on him. Our DLine recruiting is going great!

I'm not holding out much hope but I am also reading that we are very much in it for Walter Nolan. (DT)

Malaki Starks has set his commitment date for March 25th.

We still feeling good on him?

I believe like Mykel Williams he is committing on his dad's birthday. Williams is committing on March 15. Things are looking good for the good guys.

According to SoFL Dawg, Nolen has privately stated we are his top choice.

The other important thing is that the staff is now actively recruiting him. It had been alleged qualifying was an issue, but apparently that is no longer the case.

I saw that, too. I usually take a bit of a pessimistic view until they sign.

Keeping my fingers crossed. I am more excited about this class than any we have gotten to date.

Mykel Williams postponed his commitment. Looks like USCw is trying to make a play here.

I dont think a random USC fan twitter account is evidence of USC the program making a play.

Pretty sure that's not why he pushed back his date.

USCw is recruiting him hard and a couple other Georgia targets also. I still feel he signs with the Dawgs.

hoping that us persuing Nolen isn't scaring off Williams. Would be a shame if we end up empty-handed because of it

I think it's because the recruits expect official visits to be allowed after May 31 and he wants to take some. I can live with that.

Cool. That's still not why he pushed it back.

I hear that and he wants to see UGA have a pass rush that will highlight him. I’m just saying he’s not delaying because USCW is turning up the heat.

Hopefully Travon Walker will have a big year. Their talents are similar.

It’s his first spring ball. Hoping he’ll take a big leap forward.

I agree. He will also get more snaps with Herring moving on.

Thought this was interesting and wanted to throw it out for discussion.

Apparently, the first official visit weekend after the dead period (first weekend in June) will be for in-state prospects only. Given that the GA c/o '22 is LOADED, I like this idea a lot. What says the board?

This a UGA decision or COVID decision
