He would be a good one to get back in on.

We are in good shape to grab 8 of the top 12 in Georgia.

I know the past couple of years, there have been bigger gets from out of state, but I feel like most years we need to bring in the majority of top talent from GA.

Anyone want to guess the 8 of the top 12 we'll likely to get besides those that are already committed?

I guess 8 but would put money on these 4.
Amarius Mims Will be blocking for Brock V
Smael Mondon (only signed 1 OLB in 2020)
Deion Colzie - want to catch TD's from Brock V
Barrett Carter (didn't sign any ILB in 2020)
My guess is we We will get one of the other 2 top linemen. This will be another great class.

The 8 of the top 12 I think:

Amaurius Mims-OT
Brock Vandagriff-QB
Smael Monden-LB
Deion Colzie-WR
Terrance Ferguson-OG
Barret Carter-LB
Micah Morris-OT
David Daniel-ATH

Bonus-Nyland Green

These are guesses, but most are pretty good leans to us. I know Auburn is in on a couple of these, so we'll see.

BVG
Mims
Monsoon
Carter
Morris
Daniel
Green
Jefferson

with a chance at Ferguson, who is playing this really close to his big arse chest

I mean, realistically, we are in it with 10 of the top 12, if you include Colzie, who by no means out of it

If there are better prospects out of state, should we not try and sign them instead?

This... Give me the best kids we can get. If it's a true tie... sure err on the side of closer... but otherwise... gimme the best we can get. I think Kirby said it best last year... we didn't forget about in-state, we missed on some of the guys we wanted... and hit on some of the ones out of state... sometimes by design, sometimes not (see: DL).

Yes but we shouldn’t miss on as many instate guys as we did last year. We signed 2 of the top 10, 3 of the top 15, 4 of the top 20 in state guys. No reason we should have at least 4 of the top 10

We missed on Gilbert (can't blame him for going to LSU) and Murphy (who wanted to play in a 4-3 defense). Outside of those who are left who would you choose over who UGA signed?

1. Gilbert
2. Murphy
3. Jones-UGA

4. Anderson- He jumped up the charts-We brought in Smith and Johnson the year before Sherman who was ranked higher until the final ranking

5-Ratledge-UGA

6-Bigsby-Lost due to Evans. Signed Milton who was ranked higher until the final ranking

7-Webb-Signed a higher player

8-I don't remember his recruitment at all but I feel like he got the Bama bump

9-Hinton-Signed the top two tackles in Ga and he was never coming here.

10-Gibbs-signed Milton instead.
