Hancock will rebound, just a bad start. Better get used to it though, Richmond dugout was giving him a ton of shite all game and that’s going to be the norm all year; he has a target on his back

He’s arguably the best draft eligible pitcher in the game right now. So when he has a bad inning like in the 3rd the opposing dugout is going to pile on big as they want to both get in his head and are each trying to get a piece of him at the plate. In this case, they were catcalling and gesturing to bring on a reliever. It’s nothing too unique but you are going to see a lot more of it on Friday nights this year because of the hype surrounding Hancock
