Apparently 4* freshman guard KD Johnson is dealing with NCAA eligibility issues. Crean says he’s working to resolve them.

We need him bad before Cincinnati and conference play. Other than Kier and KD we don’t have any knock down 3 point shooters.

I don’t think people realize how good Sahvir Wheeler is.

Did anyone else see this on the other thread (recruiting). I wonder if there is anything to this?

Little bit of basketball news:

5* SG Aminu Mohammed is deciding between Indiana, Georgetown, Georgia, and Kansas State

He wants to enroll for spring semester, which means he will be playing this season. Unfortunately, until now, there is not a scholarship available for him. Georgia sophomore Jaykwon Walton just put his name in the transfer portal, which is extremely strange two games into the season.

Might be reading too much in between the lines here, but Georgia might’ve forced Walton out and we could be making room for Aminu.

We didn't "force him out" it's more so just really fortuitous timing. Walton was a top 100 recruit and I think the 2nd best recruit in his class but never saw the floor last year and this year even with a ton of newcomers barely got minutes and was practically last off the bench.

As has been the case for us typically the last few years we are a finalist but who knows if we'll close..we've been on the table for so many people only to see them to elsewhere. But we seem to have a real shot with aminu. Hes deciding on the 15th and I believe (could be wrong) he could play for us starting in January

even our game against montana tomorrow will be like a 150 rank differential on kenpom from anyone we've played so far and they are 161

Yep. But we lose that game last year. We finally have a defense.
