I imagine blowing out LSU will move us up to 75-80 in NET. A win over SC will get us to 70-75. We will definitely get into the NIT if that happens.

Can't hurt anything. They'll probably run us out of the gym but if we pull the upset, it could get us near the bubble if we beat SC tomorrow. 16-9 with a 9-9 conference record and a few wins in the SEC tourney might get it done.

Playing around with the Torvik teamcast simulator:
- Win over SC
- Win over Alabama
SEC Tourney:
- Win over Moo State
- Win over Arkansas
- Loss to LSU
That would put us as the 2nd team out, so basically a 50/50 shot. Anything better than that and we are in.

I wish our team played with the grit this Carolina team does. They aren’t a great team but compensate by knowing their jobs and working hard af. I just wish we could channel that for some of our games where we just don’t have it

Someone talk me off the ledge or push me off. We are going to be 1/3 of SCs entire win total and have dropped 10 in a row to them. That in itself should be getting some anger. Run out the building twice by a 6 win team. We have been described in this age of modern basketball as a “below the rim” team which I’ve never heard used in a non joking context lol.
This season has made me a hell of a cynic which sucks. I can’t even draw positives going into next season other than we get to graduate some of these guys who can’t shoot, dribble, pass, or defend.

At this point, South Carolina is just a match-up problem for us. They're not even good. I'm not an X and O's guy, but Frank Martin has a gameplan for us that works to perfection without fail. I'm really not sure what we can do because we have better players than them.

I’m willing to give him one more year because he is gradually improving. It’s fricking tortoise level bad but record wise, he is improving. If UGA doesn’t make the postseason next year or doesn’t have a winning record in conference, he needs to go. He still has an opportunity to get an NIT bid this year. As much basketball as possible will do wonders for Wheeler, Camara, and Johnson. We have some nice pieces.

Crean's Indiana tenure was similar. It took awhile to bring in enough talent to be good, and then they were suddenly the #1 overall seed in 2013. They got upset in ugly fashion by Syracuse in the Sweet 16 that year and never recovered.

Yeah Wheeler and KD have me optimistic for next year. Need to develop or find more 3 and D guys and maybe a legit big and we would be really solid I think.

That’s what worries me is that’s kind of all we have. Our top defensive player and second best ball handler (gulp) in kier. Gone. Our teams leading 3 point shooter (gulp). Gone. Our teams most fundamentally sound player (gulp) in etter. Gone. Our only only person we can use in the post just about (gulp again) in Garcia. Gone. And it’s not like we have some stud recruiting class coming in. I honestly know nobody and the studs left the state again.
I just don’t know what the plan is. Do we bring in like 5 more jucos again? Right now we have one ball handler. One charmin soft “below the rim” playing forward. And KD who is a dawg but just needs to add some polish in places
