You're right. My head is fuzzy with a cold. Substitute Thomas for Wilson and Stokes for Brini. I'm all sorts of off.

If LeCounte doesn’t add some weight and commit to tackling he’s gonna get benched. That Texas game was pathetic.

The entire team played like they had no interest in winning and like they just expected to walk in and win without actually trying to win. Pathetic performance for the entire team top to bottom.

LeCounte is a ball-hawk. He's just light in the arse. A bit of weight is all he needs to have an awesome year.

Can't wait for the G-Day game to see how he and Cook are looking.

A ball hawk gets more than 1 or 2 picks per year. And it’s not that he’s light in the arse. He is, but it would be way less of a problem if he had any form whatsoever instead of tackling big people high. But hopefully he gets it together.

I mean he flies to the ball. He's never been an interception guy. He's a run support, physical safety without the weight for his play style. Watch the tape and you'll see he runs the lane well and meets the ball carrier then bounces off.

Yes he should get lower, but an additional 15 lbs would do wonders for the guy.

Against LSU, Bama and Texas he avoided some open space tackles against physical RBs and QBs.

I'll go out on a limb - Adam Anderson

We have depth at OLB, but not a real superstar. Anderson was showing flashes late last year of why he reminded me of Leonard Floyd coming out of high school. He becomes our premier pass rusher.

No his method of tackling is just terrible. Malkom Parrish was of similar size and 10 times the tackler. Richard tries to tackle the shoulder pads and it never works. I don't see him playing much unless he can get that fixed.

I see LeCounte’s issue as simply tackling basics. Every single time he encounters the ball carrier he is trying to strip the ball as job #1, not tackle. As a result he misses a shite ton of tackles and usually just bounces off the runner. If he can fix this, he’ll be an All-American.

I’d argue he’s trying to use his shoulder more than go for the strip

He has alligator arms when he tackles.

Fromm will want that go to receiver for jump balls so I'll lean towards Holloman.

Zeus

Oh, and Otis Reese

Adam Anderson and Jermaine Johnson have been posted, but I'm gonna go with Nolan Smith.

All good choices. I like DJ Daniel too. He's got potential to be a lock down corner assuming he picks up the playbook.

Which I understand is not very difficult for CBs in our scheme.

Cox sure had a hard time figuring out that Hurts liked to roll to his right. He got trapped inside almost every time.
