quote:I don't know that I'd say unlikely, volatile may be a better word. We have the last visit, which is great, but I could see this playing out like his HS teammate Markaviest Bryant last year, who was rumored to go to no fewer than 4 different teams in the 24 hours leading up to his signing.
Walker- Unlikely- IMO. BAMA, TENN
quote:I'm a big believer in following the visits and in this case that bodes well for us. I think he's been in Athens like half a dozen times since he last went to Ann Arbor, all comes down to whether or not we have room and feel comfortable about him qualifying.
Reese- Unlikely - IMO Michigan, BAMA
quote:Still think he'd be a tough pull from aTm or Oklahoma but I won't doubt Kirby and staff on getting somebody they really want.
O’Neal- More Likely- staff seems to be spending fair amount of time

Regarding Tyson Campbell, that former Miami player and friend of Campbell's family provided a recent update.
He's hearing from an American Heritage coach that Tyson to UGA is almost a sure thing. Says our biggest recruiter and the main reason Tyson is hellbent on UGA is Sony Michel. His dad wants him at Miami, but isn't pressuring him. Is still planning an OV to Miami, so this guy is still holding out hope they can sway him back (this poster is a Miami alum after all).

When is he coming here? I think he is scheduled for Auburn on the 26th,

This morning Chad Simmons said Feb 2nd. Of course he could change his plans a dozen times between now and then, seems to be that type of recruitment.

Tyson Campbell is the biggest priority.

Mario Goodrich is in Athens for his OV, per his twitter.

I keep hearing that, but most have CB'ed him to Baylor, and some to Michigan State. Maybe things changed in our favor.
Recent chatter is that parents would prefer him closer to home. UT Austin getting into the mix apparently. For those people questioning why the staff might still be after more guys than we have spots, this would be one of those reasons...
Tough to predict what a 17-18 year old kid is going to do given time and a lot of external pressures. Just have to have a lot of irons in the fire.

You a-hole! How dare you say something like that when we are this close to signing day.

Seeing as we are trying to get to 10k, this seems like a good time to discuss the average air speed of an unladen swallow...as you may be aware, it does matter whether the swallow is African or European.
