Ole Miss is not going to beat us! We're going to kick their fricking MISSISSIPPI ASSES BACK TO THE SHITHOLE THEY CRAWLED OUT OF! THEY SWEAT LIKE WE DO, THEY BLEED LIKE WE DO, THEY ARE ABOUT TO WALK INTO A MAROON BUZZ-SAW AND THEY AIN'T READY FOR IT.

Ok that makes sense now. This is your Malik melt equivalent.
You know I experience the same thing with my Father-in-Law. When I am melting about some sort of GOT big picture thing related to A&M he shrugs it off, yet he gets VERY upset about losses that I shrug off. I guess it comes down to how you view the program.
For me the Bama loss sucked but it wasn't worth melting about. This team simply wasn't good enough to win all of its games (partially due to LB play that would be somewhat fixed with Malik in the lineup FYI) and so I will take a loss to a good program like Bama over dropping a game to Arky or something. An Arky loss would have gotten me melting.
Honestly just like last season I care more about the recruiting class than the final W-L record. I know they are related, but I also feel that we are obviously lacking talent in some areas and the only solution to that is signing the talent we need. It won't change who our QB is, but I really feel if our line was better then Kyle isn't shaken enough to make those throws. I will melt if we get to NSD without a handful of top OL recruits, because that will mean QB sacks or interceptions down the line that will lead to lost games.
I know that doesn't make you feel better about the loss though. Hate it for you Sarge, but in a way I am jealous too. I wish I could enjoy or not enjoy A&M in the moment like that. I have gotten so jaded that college football isn't a bunch of games on grass to me, it is a big game of Risk and the Bama loss was just a bad dice roll.

I just don't understand the melting and hesitancy towards the ole miss game when we just spent most of a game with three pick sixes within two possessions.
Ole miss got embarrassed by Florida, and lost to Memphis.

I don't know. I haven't felt this way since our collapse vs okie state in 2011.
I guess I though deep down inside we really had the defense and offense to handle Bama. Then we proceeded to throw away any chance we had with 4 ints, 3 fricking pick 6's
