Is there a good place to see practice clips?

Are we thinking by next week sometime we’ll have a starter announced?
I’d imagine he’d wanna announce the starter before SHS week

Last year it was Wednesday, Aug 25th. Jimbo announced it on a morning show in Houston (John & Lance on 97.5). 10 days before opening day. So Wednesday the 24th would be the same timeframe.

Yeah I heard Looch say that the other day. I guess we’ll see

Is the consensus that it will be King?

I believe so.
Looch kind of hinted that he had a good scrimmage and he’s been the best at practice (I’m paraphrasing) but I think all signs say king

It’s not a reason to start him if he’s not the best option, but I think Haynes represents the best chance for stability at the position moving forward.

It’s still a one-time transfer exemption so Max would have to graduate to be able to transfer without sitting again. And there’s a good amount of eligibility separation between him and Conner. In the current transfer environment, that’s about as good as you can do as far as maintaining depth.

Not sure who said this but yeah I think that’s the point. I trust Jimbo to pick the best option at QB and rn from what I’ve read people seem to think it’s King. So we’ll see

Has Haynes put on some good weight?

He was listed as over 200 pounds last year. He's lanky still but plenty big enough. Don't want to lose that speed.

I know running is part of his game but Jesus I always have a bad feeling when he takes off.

King has gained a lot of muscle. And honestly he’s the best choice now. Soon the best choice will be Weigman.

I look forward to watching him healthy . Honestly Max just ain't it. It was hard to watch him a lot of the time at LSU
