i don't know a lot about A&M history, but dennis allen is a pretty good nfl dc and already got thrown to the wolves with al davis as a gm while in oakland.

Make em say no. They've all had elite-ish results above their programs traditional stature.
You have to isolate for the coaching factor in results and recruiting. What did they do compared to the 5-10 year span on both sides of their tenure.

He averaged about 50th I believe. Not great. He improved it marginally for a couple years I think.
