He is. Dude has heart. Still wish he’d get a little better as a passer, but there’s no doubt he’s got guts and is a tough SOB.

Say what you want about him but he’s got heart and he’s tough as hell. I like the guy

I dont think everyone was wrong about him. he is a 50/50 passer with suspect mechanics, a tendency to stare down receivers and a seeming inability to throw a ball that receivers can reliably catch.

I don't recall anyone questioning his intestinal fortitude.

He is tough as hezell. Reminds me of the kid from Arkansas a few years ago that every time we levelled his butt he just kept crawling back up for another beating. Allen, I think?

Yea it was one of the Allen brothers. Not sure which one since it seemed like there was one of them starting for like 8 years at Pig.

That fast ball saved an interception last night though the look on that defenders face was awesome as the ball shot right through him when he stepped in front of it

I thought the same thing. That ball looked like it teleported into Anias' hands.

Probably more referring to Austin but Brandon was tough too, Brandon just had a better line to work with

One of them started for basically 5 years

Then you must not have looked at Billy Liucci's website in the weeks before the Bama game (good for you!). All kinds of personal attacks from internet toughguys over there wanting to ride him out of Brazos County on a rail because he didn't have the heart or the emotion or whatever other nonsense those morons focus on.

2-3 times a game he makes an NFL all-pro caliber throw. I mean a frozen rope to the opposite hash that not but 4-5 guys at this level right now can make.

Then he'll miss multiple swing passes to the RB and overthrow his wide open tight end by 15 yards

I think if you were to ask Calzada himself he would say it should have been an INT if he’s being honest.

He has a lightning bolt for an arm.

He also has this look on his face 75% of the time like he just woke up from a nap at midfield
