I think USC is going to get their NIL together for Julian Lewis is the biggest hold up.

The days of elite recruiting are done. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing. This recruiting class is middle of the road at best for an SEC school.

I'm kind of in agreement. You can make the case that Nic Scourton is the best addition to any team in the entire SEC based on performance this season.... yep...a transfer.
The transfer portal negates some of the recruiting class stuff. Some, not all. Unlike high school players, transfers come in proven.

We aren't going to be pulling 5-6 5* recruits in a class anymore. Hopefully we can stay in the T10 and supplement with quality portal players. That is what I expect of Elko. Heavy 4* classes, with the occasional 5* and some 3*'s for depth ...

I think if Elko keeps winning big games he’ll get whatever recruits he wants lol
I do agree, I don’t think we’ll see a ton of 5* guys but I’d be willing to bet we don’t see as many “busts” either
