The only concern is that he supposedly made a "shoot the school up" comment. If it is true then he may face a very severe punishment, if not expelled.

On Thompson I would hope/think that keeping him out the first three games until the media narrative slows down and bring him back having missed a third of the season would be the smart play here. Athletes have gotten away with much worse with less severe consequences one only has to look at Alabam for example.

This isn’t fair but IF he made that comment I imagine they will figure out a way to let it slide due to who he is

He may of said it and he may “get away with it”. But this day and age that type of comment is taken very seriously. Either way I wasn’t there and have no clue what actually transpired. So hopefully he didn’t say anything of the sort and gets cleared.
