Anyone else see that Currie is in the Bahamas/is going to the Bahamas with the bball team?

IMO this is the most interesting nugget since Gruden talked about Rocky Top last week.

Honestly the lack of a denial from Gruden is the most interesting to me. He has a son in school there right now, it’s not like his kid isn’t hearing about it all day every day. The longer this drags out if he says no the more shite his son will get.

This all day. Everything going on from him giving non-answers about taking the position to Currie going on this trip make me feel really good about our standing with him.

Brother in law and I were talking about this over the weekend and this is one of the more impressive things about this whole thing to me. You know his kid is getting hit up for info from everyone he knows. The fact that nothing has come out on that end one way or the other is really impressive. Brother in law's thought was that mom and dad hadn't told him anything; but let's be honest, if you knew your dad was heavily rumored all over the media to possibly make a career change AND move 10-20 min away from you instead of 2-3 states away, you'd be asking your parents some questions and know a little something. The whole lack of information about alot of this stuff has been pretty astounding.

Makes me think it's happening... if I'm honest. They want to make a splash, best way is shutting up

Last thing I saw from VQ was Currie is going today but not sure when he will be back. I'm assuming before thanksgiving because they keep talking about Mullen interviewing Friday

While that's in all likelihood total fantasy it would be awesome if somehow we could announce we have hired Gruden very soon after they've announced their coach and just swamp them right out of the news cycle

It would make the scenario even more enjoyable which I didn't think was possible

TBH I think the think I like most about coaching searches is the things our fans make up or rationalize.

This is true. I mean we had probably 15-20 folks at the airport last Thursday waiting on a plane that one of our boosters owns.

I got some juicy info last night from a reputable source so I'm still in.

My faith is shaken. Could you place this plate of delicious nugs on the counter to share?

Every day that passes and we see no new info about him I feel 10x more confident. Think it’s already done
