I don’t even care about the bowl game. Just want to win for the optics when it comes to recruiting.

Get me to 5-7 and I’ll be content. 6-6 would be pretty miraculous given our September

I haven't followed recruiting at all this year. Would a good finish to the season even matter with the early signing period? I feel like we have already screwed ourselves.

My only expectation going into this season is that we don't shite the bed so we can bring in another decent recruiting class. It will be interesting to watch the rest of the season play out.

Every now and then good things happen. Let's hope we keep playing well.

Playing well right now. We have a very explosive passing game thanks to Chaney and our WRs.

Before the season I just wanted wins over USCe, Mizzou and Vandy. Looks very possible at the moment.

Also, we need to replace one of Rocker, Sherrer, or Rumph with Tosh Lupoi and get recruiting rolling on the DL.

Do we get Gooden for another year?

UT's website says he's redshirting this season so I'd take that as a 'likely yes.'

Post-UAB thoughts: Offense still needs work but a lot of that had to do with starters on OL being out as well as Wanya being dinged up (he had a bad game but I think he'll bounce back fine). Also, playing a one-armed QB with 7 fresh screws in his hand isn't exactly optimal. UAB has a legit defense (we were the first team to score more than 20 on them all year) but offense has to get better at the red zone and has to get better at grind it out plays. Right now, we do well with big plays but we have to put it together on those last 20-30 yards.

--Cimaglia is an absolute beast. He continues our tradition of badass kickers and punters.

--Defense is carrying this team right now and that's ok but again offense has to do better.

We need a better performance from our offense the next 3 weeks, but I don't see any reason we can't win out.

We should be 6-3 right now, it sucks that we played like complete shite for our first 2 games.

If those games pull this team together and put us on a better trajectory, I can handle it.

I'm a bit worried about our OL being banged up. Hopefully, we get our starters back for this game.

Looks like VOLS won again. Excellent defensive adjustments by the staff.

We desperately needed this week off to heal up, but I am thrilled to be where we are. I cannot believe the turnaround this season, given the first couple of games. I would have put money on this being our all-time worst season, record-wise. Luckily, this win ensures that Butch still owns that turd.

Same. Had a buddy criticizing Pruitt recently. Watching this team play the last few weeks has been fun...they have progressed drastically in some positions. The first few games sucked and GaSt is still inexcusable, but I don’t see how anyone watching the games can honestly say they haven’t seen a much more physical and disciplined (well sorta) football team.

Pruitt might not workout here, but that dumb redneck knows football. Losing Jennings, Bituli, and Taylor will hurt real bad I’m afraid.

It’s been super enjoyable watching this team develop the last few weeks. It’s actually fun to watch VOLS and be emotionally invested again. That bald headed human skoal can is really starting to grow on me

Yeah WR worries me next year with no Jennings or Callaway. Hopefully Keyton or Deangelo Gibbs will make a big jump. Losing Bituli and Taylor will hurt obviously, but front 7 is probably the least of my concerns going forward under Pruitt imo jmo

Same. I’m not completely IN on Poot. I’m conflicted because I can’t stand that he’s from bama but at the same time he’s a dumb hillbilly like most of us.

Probably a good point. The player development has been pretty decent under Germ. He has the son of dale carter playing some goddamn quality ram style football.

Might be proven wrong in the long run here, but I feel like Pruitt was completely orange-pilled by the crooked officiating during the Alabama game. If he turns it around here big time and Alabama ever came calling I'm not entirely connviced he'd jump ship anymore. Could become a situation like Dooley being an Auburn man becoming Bullldog.

I truly think he’s a Bama man through and through. That said, what a great problem it would be if he ends up good enough to be hired by Bama and we getting a coaching search and for once we don’t suck Shetland Pony dick.
