Kiffin is a whore. He knows it, which is why he’s so defensive. His reputation is shot for leaving a playoff team, and the media will give him shite for years. The loser should get over it and be himself

A whore.

I'm warning up to the narrative of letting him coach the rest of the season, but at the same time, there's the understanding that he wouldn't be recruiting (the life blood of a program) for us during that time. It's not as easy of a decision folks think. I love our AD and will back him, but people don't need to lose the overall impact for long term impacts.

Yeah, my instinct is to give a shite about the players actually doing the thing. Sorry if that seems backwards to you.

I understand they’re getting paid now, and that changes a lot of things. I’m not oblivious. They are still the ones actually out there playing, though. That does matter.

This whole narrative is twisted. He is not choosing to leave an 11-1 team before the playoffs. He would love to finish the season. It is Ole Miss forcing him out before the playoffs.

He is absolutely choosing to leave an 11-1 team before the playoffs. I would rather shut down the football program than allow him to coach in the post season.

I don’t think it’s an easy one at all. All I’m saying is that you can’t say he’s quitting on the team if he wants to coach the rest of the season. It’s just intellectually dishonest.

I would want my best chance to win now if I were in y’all’s shoes, but if you want to prioritize the future I get it. You gotta own that decision, though.

And if he stays in Oxford to coach this team and signs the extension, I’m sure you’ll be just as magnanimous about the time he’s forced LSU to waste on him. You are full of it.

Can’t blame him for something he hasn’t done wrong. I’d blame our athletic department for not getting it done, and hope they go get a strong candidate. If it’s true that we literally haven’t talked to anyone else then it’s our own damn fault if we make a shite hire.

Seems like a really weird thing to be upset about for what seem like legit interchangeable phrases. But whatever, man.

Would you honestly do that at the expense of sinking your own program and helping out a rival? That's the big question.

He still has to figure out the spin he needs to control the narrative. Thats it.

He already started with his "not one player on this offense is from Mississippi" comment

That seemed like a big hint to me that he's going to play the "much easier to recruit there" card

Why the hell is Ole Miss forcing him to make this decision and putting a Natty in jeopardy?! How stupid can yall be. Let him coach and try to win it all and let him walk, at least you can get a championship out of him before he bails. The fact yall are forcing him to make a decision is exactly why he will go to LSU. Idiots

To boil this down:
Let him coach and go for it all and hiring new leftover carousel coach and fricking your portal and assistant coach pool carousel
Vs.

Force a decision, lose him and let the assistants coach and get a good new coach to plug into our machine.

Exactly! Like my dad told me, if she’ll cheat on her boyfriend with you then she’ll cheat on you with somebody else. If he decides to go to LSU, then they’ll be the team on the clock waiting to see who he cheats on them with. Good luck!
