Waddle
Did anybody else cringe seeing him out there?

I appreciate the hard work and heart, but someone should have stepped in and said no or taken his helmet.

I’m not sure the “medical” staff had his best interest in mind.

Patrick Mahomes - “respect the heart, but you can’t let that man out there”

Darius Leonard - “come on Nick, don’t let Waddle do this, he’s hurt and shouldn’t be out there. C’mon bro! Sometimes you gotta protect players from themselves.”

re: Waddle
At Alabama it just means more, bruh. He wanted to be out there and he actually made a couple of key plays that kept drives alive.

I think hitting his goal was all that was on his mind - and maybe showing the NFL that his rehab is coming along fine.

No doubt, but as other NFL stars weighed in “protect players from themselves”

Alabana didn’t need him last night. The risk wasn't worth it.

re: Waddle
What risk? He was cleared to play. It was all pain related and he and his family wanted him to do it.

Sometimes there is more to it than just getting to the NFL. Seems like LSU might want to take notes.

Didn’t say he wasn’t

Not a pussy like you.

Patrick Mahomes - “respect the heart, but you can’t let that man out there”

Dez Bryant - “keep Waddle out of the game. I know you love the game, but not playing is what’s best for your future”

Just a couple Tweets from “pussies” about Waddle being out there.

Him being out there mad no difference in this game. None and only put a risk on slowing his rehab or injuring it again.

Sounds like a couple of guys who would've opted out this year..... I can see why you appreciate their comments.

Don't be hard on the corndogs. Their only experience is having their star players quit on them.

Someone like Waddle is completely foreign to them.

I'd love for the doctors of the scoreboard to explain to me specifically what about Jaylen's injury was at risk in the game.

This. Some things are more important than money.

It was his call of whether to go or not. On the broadcast they said that the doctors told him that he couldn't make the injury worse, it was just a pain/stiffness tolerance thing.

Good to see everyone watching at home had access to his medical records and was present throughout his rehab to know what is best for him.

I would imagine the medical staff told him you can't do any further damage, structure is fine... however, there will be pain...he played through it... tough as nails

At first when I saw him limp off after the first down he got, that Jones could have definitely run for, I was thinking...what is he doing?

They did say later in the game that he was cleared medically and it was just residual pain, however, I think it does beg the question, if someone is limping that bad, are they actually going to help the team being out there? He had 3 receptions for 34 yards, but is him at 75% better than another player at 100?

Understanding he was ok medically, that would be my only question.

Yes. Simply for the mindfrick to OSU's defensive coordinator alone.
